How were the MP3s made?

These MP3s were made the "old-fashioned way". I played the song on the XK-3 using Sonar 3 to capture the MIDI. The midi captured the Upper Manual in one track, the Lower Manual in another track. The Upper Manual Track also captured the Expression Pedal and the Leslie fast/slow changes.

Disclaimer:

I do not represent any of the companies that manufacture the clones tested.
I do own all the clones tested.

All MP3s were made using Sonar 3 Producer Edition.
A MOTU 828mkII was used for the I/O.
Alesis M1 Active Monitors.
All clones were recorded in stereo from their line outs.

All B3 Clone Comparison MP3s were made using the same midi file and same registrations.
Every attempt was made to provide the best representation of each clone and also to make each MP3 to be as close in volume as possible.
